Marianne Rebel Brown (formerly Marianne Rebel Montgomery) is a certified Matrimonial Attorney, Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, and is well-known throughout South Jersey as a family law trial attorney. She is a graduate of New England School of Law in Boston, MA. With over 30 years of experience in family law, her extensive background includes a variety of family law cases including divorce, child custody, parental defense in child abuse cases and matters relating to domestic violence.

Her family law practice also includes extensive post-judgment motion experience dealing with the issue of enforcing divorce and support judgments, modifying alimony and child support and modifying child custody. While at South Jersey Legal Services, she coordinated a federal grant that funded representation of survivors of domestic violence. Recognizing the need for income as a lifeline for injured or disabled adults, Ms. Rebel Brown is also passionate about obtaining SSD (Social Security Disability Benefits) and SSI (Social Security Income) for claimants.

Her social security practice also includes representation of children for SSI (Social Security Income) benefits. As an attorney, she handles residential real estate from review of contracts through representation at the closing table. A landlord and property owner herself, Ms. Rebel Brown drafts commercial and residential leases and real estate sales contracts.

Marianne’s legal expertise spans both work accomplished in and with the private sector, as well as her excellent leadership skills in working for and with many non-profit legal service organizations. She is an excellent communicator and believes that clients should understand their legal choices and participate in the decisions.
